  3. Scan to configure

    I would like to be able to scan a link watermark and result in a system settings change. Here is my example:

    Scanning a link watermarked artifact noting a local wifi results in a direct change to the system wifi settings including the wifi name and password.

    This could extend to any locality including coffee shops, salons, work places and even homes.

  5. Ubiquity between App and Web

    I would love for some code to copy and paste into a form style page on my website, so that the user is able to see the experience viewable from the app directly on my website.

    Maybe mobile web functionality might equal greater ubiquity, in addition to the downloadable app?

    Thanks so much. It was a pleasure being MAX.

  6. Support Rich Payoff creation in your rubygem

    I have found the rubygem to be very helpful in delivering code that manages live paper links! bravo!
    I really want to have a simplified way to create stunning rich payoffs - using the rubygem.

  7. I want to embed the reading capability into my own app

    Is there a possibility to create an App with our own branding using the Link Reader Technology? Would be great to get access to create own Apps for example having an information "powerde by hp!" This gives the PSP's the possibility to promote this technology in own branding to the customers.

  9. Make the clientID and secret (and Basic auth key?) obvious, and NOT inside the API documentation

    This is the first time I've ever gone to look for a client ID and secret... I couldn't find it anywhere. Actually, I eventually did find it - somewhere I wasn't expecting - in the API documentation.

    • My first inclination was to look under the account settings page, but that doesn't exist... it's only "log out" under the email address at the top

    • Second, I tried Create, Manage, Mobile App, and Resources tabs. Not there.

    • Third, I skipped FAQ

    • Finally, I skeptically clicked on the API documentation tab..

    In there, it wasn't clear that I would even find the credentials…

  10. allow sharing to open a url in safari

    currently, the app traps the user in an embedded web browser. it is absolutely standard to include "Open in Safari" as a sharing option. The embedded browser is a horrible experience because a) it is size-limited by link reader's chrome, b) even worse, it uses a separate cookie store from safari so none of the sites you use are logged in, etc.

  11. add rich payoff to the ruby gem documentation

    Currently, there is no documentation on this feature. The Rich Payoff documentation is misleading because (I believe) the gem does some things for you, like packing up the parts of the JSON structure, base-64 encoding, etc

  12. use correct case for programmatic values

    On the Payoff documentation page there is the phrase:

    "The body for the create call requires a richpayoff element with:"

    below this phrase the code sample shows the hash key as "richPayoff"

    Notice the incorrect case int he bold word "richpayoff". I assume that using the correct casing is critical to proper operation...

  13. add the ability to use a local file to the ruby gem

    I had added a function to the gem's LivePaper::Image class called 'from_file' in order to properly read in and then upload to link a file located on my hard drive (i.e. not a url). I suggest you add this functionality to the gem. See below for a version of 'image.rb' that includes the new function:

    requirerelative 'baseobject'
    require 'rest-client'

    module LivePaper
    class Image

    attr_accessor :url

    API_URL = &#39;<a rel="nofollow noreferrer" href="https://storage.livepaperapi.com/objects/v1/files&#39">https://storage.livepaperapi.com/objects/v1/files&#39</a>;

    def self.upload(img)
    # return the original img uri if it is LivePaper storage
    if img.include? API_URL
    return img
    end
    begin
    src_image = RestClient.get(img, Accept: &#39;image/jpg&#39;)
    BaseObject.request_access_token unless…

  14. create a page that shows your account details in summary form

    client id
    secret
    token used to get auth token
    current number of triggers used
    etc

    Currently, this info is scattered about the site and hidden in the body of various documentation pages.
