Troubleshooting HPID


If you are experiencing issues logging in with our new HPID system, please check the following:

When you try to sign in, are you prompted to reset your password? 
Ensure you have successfully reset your password from the HP Account portal.

Do you have a primary email associated with your HPID account?
A primary email is required in order for us to send communication emails to you.  Check your account settings here to ensure you have a primary email associated with your account.

When you signed in for the first time, did you accept the Terms Of Use? 
If not, try logging in again to bring up the dialog to accept the Terms Of Use.

When you try to sign in, are you presented with a signin failure due to system difficulties? 
If so, try signing in again at a later time.  Our system requires that HPID services be available in order to log you in.

A ticket can help us assist you in the following circumstances:
  • Persistent login failures
  • Locked HPID account 
  • Account deletion requests
